Welcome to the Sleep Club
Share
Hi, and welcome. This is your first newsletter as a Sleep Club member, so let's start properly.
A quick note on safety first
If you've read my About page, you'll know I'm a qualified Infant Sleep Consultant and FEDANT registered, and that safeguarding has shaped my entire career. I won't repeat all of that here, but I did want to say it again briefly, because the infant sleep industry is unregulated and that matters. Anyone can call themselves a sleep expert. I'd rather you always know exactly who you're trusting with something this important.
Why I built things this way
Not everyone needs, or can afford, weeks of one to one support. So alongside the Bespoke Sleep Plan, I built two more accessible options: the Sleep Club Membership you're part of right now, and the Sleep Insight Report.
The Sleep Insight Report is honestly where the pressure comes off you completely. You don't need to speak to me, meet me, or do any homework with me. You tell me what's going on, I identify where the support is needed and make clear suggestions, and the rest is down to you. I mean that literally: if you don't follow it, it won't work. But if you do, it will, because it's built entirely around your family, not a generic template.
A little more about me
I completed my own infant sleep training when my daughter was six months old, because despite everything I knew professionally about children, none of it taught me how to function on no sleep. From night one of finishing that training, she slept 13 hours. She still does, to this day.
We still have the odd rough night, or even a rough week when a lot is going on, but there's always a reason behind it. Changes in sleep almost always mean something else is going on underneath. That's usually where the real answer is.
Let's play: two truths and a lie
Let's make this fun. Next time you send in your weekly question, add three things about yourself at the bottom, and make one of them a lie. I'll guess which one, right there in my answer.
I know mum life is busy, so this is just a small way to build a bit of connection and make this feel like a genuinely warm space, not just a place to get advice.
And as I may have mentioned once or twice, baby number two is due this October, so I'll be going through all of this right alongside you. If I overshare in future newsletters, I apologise in advance. We've got this.
